Students are provided opportunities to stay engaged with SLP during the summer between sophomore and junior year in the program.  Summer opportunities include SLP Serves a community service day held each year in partnership with a local non-profit organization and the annual Summer Experience Trip to Chicago.  Information for the SLP summer programs will be posted once it is available in early spring.

Upcoming Summer Programs

The 2021 SLP Appleton Serves is open to current SLP Appleton sophomore students. Students will spend the morning volunteering at Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin to support their efforts to provide food to those in need in the region. Following the volunteer project, students will have lunch and spend the afternoon at Badger Sports Park. There is no cost to attend and transportation will be provided from each high school. The agenda for the event will be posted in early June. The deadline to register is Friday, June 11.

The 2021 SLP Appleton Summer Experience Trip is open to current SLP Appleton sophomore and junior students. The trip will take place in Chicago where students will spend three days visiting the sights and sounds of The Windy City. Students who sign up for this trip, must also attend a mandatory orientation meeting with a parent or guardian. Registration is now closed for this trip.
